POLLING PLACES: County offers useful locater tool

Having relocated to Kootenai County just over a year ago and wanting to be an informed voter, using several sources of political information either by way of mail or your publication. The first thing I needed to know is what district I am in so I can view the correct ballot.

After a considerable internet search, the only accurate information I could find is that after the 2020 census the legislative districts had been redrawn and could not find any map with helpful information as to what district I am in. On a second attempt having found a political ad with a website I had not used previously, success. The intent of this letter is to share this important information via your publication so everyone can be informed.

This site is very user friendly even for me and tells you not only what district you are assigned but provides a sample ballot that can be printed.
