POEM: Coeur d’Alene

There was a little city
That grew and grew
They rubber stamped every development
That came along and was new.
Now we have a biggie
They call it Coeur Terre
But do they think on
What it is like to drive around here?
A lot more people is what we need
To make the traffic more of a mess
But the wise ones gave it “the green light”
They must commute by Helicopter I guess.
There is little interest in what we common folk
Think or say
Revenue and glitzy stuff
Has always held it’s sway.
