Hagadone Marine Group announces Ryan Holmes as new General Manager

Hagadone Marine Group based out of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is pleased to announce that Ryan Holmes has been appointed as the new General Manager.

Holmes is an award-winning executive leader who has incredible experience delivering successful improvements for business operations, profitability and team development. Holmes comes to Hagadone Marine from Honda of Seattle, where he was the Operations Manager for over two years, followed by 10 years with Klein Honda where he was the General Manager.

Holmes will be overseeing the Marine Center operations including, but not limited to, policies and processes, operational strategies, financial performances, optimizing productivity and more. He will oversee the following departments at Hagadone Marine Center: Blackwell Pro Shop, Maintenance, Transportation, Yard, Service Production, Detail & Fiberglass, Parts, Service, Sales and Delivery.

Born and raised in Tacoma, Wash., Holmes recently relocated to Coeur d’Alene with his wife, Cheryl, and their three children: Alivia (11), Chance (8) and Easton (6). They have three dogs and love spending time out on the water together. He also enjoys golfing, is a huge NFL fan and loves the Seattle Mariners.

“Meeting with Mr. Brad Hagadone was very special — seeing the joy he had for not only the business but also the people that work there made it clear to me that this was the place I wanted to represent,” Holmes said. “I feel extremely blessed for this opportunity — I was looking for a home and I really feel like I found it.”

MAC Physical Therapy offering free pain screenings

This fall, MAC Physical Therapy is offering free pain screenings. Physical therapists are available in Coeur d’Alene, Hayden or Post Falls to find and fix aches and pains. The free screenings will be offered through the end of the year.

If more in depth treatment is needed, front desk coordinators will be available to speak about potential physical therapy benefits. Often, by October, insurance will cover most or all of physical therapy treatments, since deductibles have already been met by this time of year, said a news release announcing the free pain screenings.

Praxis Health acquires Prairie Family Medicine

Praxis Health is pleased to announce the acquisition of Prairie Family Medicine in Coeur d'Alene. The official opening will be Jan. 1, 2023.

North Idaho Urology welcomes Dr. Haslam

North Idaho Urology is excited to welcome Dr. Roxanne Haslam, who will be accepting new patients Nov. 1.

Haslam grew up in Scottsbluff, Neb. She completed medical school at the University of Nebraska before traveling to the Northwest to complete her residency in urology at Oregon Health and Science University. She also obtained a Master of Business Administration during her training to better understand and navigate the evolving landscape of healthcare.

Haslam offers a full range of men’s and women’s general urology care, with special interests in minimally invasive robotic surgery and urological prosthetics. Other areas of focus include kidney stones, prostatic enlargement, urinary incontinence, cancers, vasectomy, and erectile dysfunction. Her goal is to help patients understand their conditions, and develop and execute effective treatment plans together.

Outside of work, Haslam enjoys spending time being outside and exploring the Northwest. Her hobbies include running, cycling, hiking, and skiing with her husband, John, who is a family and sports medicine physician in Coeur d’Alene.
