HIGHWAY BYPASS: Isolated a gas station

Why in God’s name would our highway officials bypass a long established place of business and cut them off from doing business? The gas station at Garwood on the east side of 95 has been a longtime favorite of many truckers and folks to gas up.

If I were the owners, I would file a class action lawsuit to get them to put the driveway back in place so folks could gas up. This was the only gas station from Hayden to Athol, so if they think folks are going out of their way to take Government Way and get to the station from the back side, I have some property in Florida for sale.

On another note, when are we going to see a four lane all the way through Hayden instead of the bottleneck the city fathers created? It is nice looking and gives us the small-town feeling although the traffic is out of control.
