Richard Reed Lewis, 66

Richard Reed Lewis passed away at 66 years of age Saturday morning on September 24, 2022 at 7:35 pm. He was born on April 22, 1956 at 1:21 am. Rich was a mechanic and welder, an Air Force Veteran, a Jack of All Trades, a loving husband and devoted father and best friend to whomever he met.

Rich was a fixer, if it was broken, he could fix it! He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking and riding his motorcycle. His favorite thing to do was watching Sunday Night Football with his kids - especially if the Seahawks were playing.

He met Teresa Lewis at the end of 2002 and married her on January 30, 2006. He has been her rock ever since.

Richard was born to Melvin and Liela (Lanphere) Lewis. His children are Rashelle Henrichsen, Michael Lewis (Magen Rodeback Evans), Douglas Robinson (Angel Robinson) and Toshia Mayhew. His grandchildren are Isla, Avery, Quinton, Julian, Micah, Hanna and Kierra. His brothers are Phil Rettstatt, Doug Lewis (Patricia Lewis) and Bill Lewis (Elena Lewis); and his sister, Teresa Rettstatt.

Rich was a bright light in this world that now seems a little dimmer. He is missed and loved by all that had the pleasure to be a part of his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 15, 2022 at the Bell Tower Funeral Chapel: 3398 E. Jenalan Ave, Post Falls at 11 am.
