Intermax expands broadband facilities on Schweitzer Mountain

Intermax announced the expansion of new high-speed internet service to an additional 100 households on Schweitzer Mountain. This summer and fall, Intermax crews have worked to bring new fiber and cable facilities to more houses, continuing the expansion that began three years ago.

“People who live on Schweitzer Mountain now have a better, faster, more reliable option for internet,” said Intermax President and CEO Mike Kennedy. “Our mission is to provide high-speed internet to our neighbors in North Idaho — no matter how remote.

“We built the first and only fiber network to the Schweitzer Mountain Village in 2019 and we look forward to being the provider of choice to the households included in our latest expansion,” Kennedy said.

Intermax provides broadband with no data caps, 24/7 local technical support and Wi-Fi access to service customers and guests in the village on Schweitzer Mountain and at the Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
