'Remembrance' ceremony Dec. 3

COEUR d'ALENE — Lake City Church is having its 19th annual Ceremony of Remembrance at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

The ceremony includes a free ornament, music, speaker and reading the names of loved ones who have died.

Joanie Dwyer, pastoral care associate at Lake City Church, will be the keynote speaker and talk about dealing with grief. She is passionate about helping others find emotional healing and peace, a press release said.

"We are flooded with memories of loved ones lost on special days and holidays, especially this time of year," the release said. "The memories bring both joy and sadness for the loss, and the experience can leave us confused.
