EDITORIAL: Press should have covered forum

If you wanted to dispel the “ugly rumors” about Kootenai Health and its BOD, you should have had one of your “Journalists” attend the forum last Saturday, Nov. 12. The three legislators who sponsored Assembly Bill 603 were there. Mr. Matheson, the one Board Member who had the courage to show up, was there. He explained what is currently before the Board and the ramifications if Kootenai Health were to change to a nonprofit. There were no “ugly rumors” for the “wokesters” to hang their hats on. Just the current information. Truth is its own defense.
