CONSTITUTION: Does not afford equal rights

| November 20, 2022 1:00 AM

My letter is more about accuracy and truth than the actual forum. You would think Josh Hurwit who organized the forum and is a U.S. Attorney for the District of Idaho, would know that nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it say, “Everyone is equal regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.” That is part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and has to do with employment discrimination. Sexual orientation and gender identity were not part of the original document but added later.
