Hospice of North Idaho end-of-life series continues

| November 17, 2022 1:00 AM

The final session of a three-part education series for people nearing the end of life and their families will take place tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hospice of North Idaho Community Building, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene.

Dr. Ryan Odom of Apollo Direct Primary Care and Bryan J. Bean of Charles Bean and Associates will explore the importance of having one’s paperwork in order at the end of life. They will review the medical and legal aspects of medical power of attorneys, living wills and POST forms.

“Planning now helps take the burden of hard decisions off of your loved ones,” said Dr. Odom, in a news release. “By working on these topics and sharing them with your family, you are able to alleviate stress in a difficult situation. This is an opportunity for you to work with physicians in the community outside the office setting.”

Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer session.

Registration is appreciated but no one will be turned away.

A recording of the meeting will be available upon request.
