Police offer free winter driving classes

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is offering free winter driving classes starting tonight.

Classes will focus on driving in the snow, avoiding crashes, staying safe in the event of a crash and what to do if you become stranded.

Classes will last about an hour and a half and begin at 6 tonight. They will also be held at 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Nov. 29 and Nov. 30.
