KUDOS: Kindness on Election Day

I just want to give a shoutout to a very unusual act of kindness during our midterm election. I am a poll worker for Kootenai County. We had several verbal alerts from voters on Tuesday about a frail old man who fell in the parking lot.

Two unrelated and unidentified women helped him to his feet after he slipped on an icy parking lot. They helped him get inside our poll and helped him prepare to vote. Later they helped him get back to his car. I did see the women helping him before and after, but did not witness either his slip and fall, rescue, or his actual departure.

Regardless, these were kind and considerate ladies who brought a spark of warmth to an otherwise pretty chilly day. To whomever you are, thanks for the special effort.
