Sandi “Sam” Wright, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long battle with COPD. She joined her beloved husband, Ron “RW,” in Heaven. She was born Jan. 29, 1948, in Richland, Wash., to John H. and Constance E. Smith. She was the middle child of three and grew up in Alaska, until she moved to Idaho in 1975.

In March 2022, she moved to Georgia to be with family in the last of her days. Her favorite and most cherished pastime memories include dancing, listening to music, reading and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald K. Wright, her parents and her sister, Connie L. Smith. She is survived by her brother, Ron Smith; her two children, William J. Wood and Tammy L. Hyden; her nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and even great-grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls, Idaho. The visitation will be held the day before from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022.
