Paulette Marie Minatre, 70

Paulette Marie Minatre, 70, passed away from a long illness on Oct. 28, 2022, in her home in Rathdrum, Idaho. She leaves her family and friends with the dearest memories anyone can wish for. Born on Aug. 23, 1952, Paulette was brilliantly creative on all the most important levels of living a good, meaningful life, and thrived on sharing that goodness with her family, friends and community.

Paulette was a true humanitarian and philanthropist who was determined to make her part of the world a better place. As a gourmet chef, she was an entertainer extraordinaire. Her table was always colorful and plentiful — a place set for joyful, meaningful, delightful, serious conversation. Paulette was a gardener, beekeeper, artist, ardent reader and so much more. She was an active and beloved mother and grandmother, and a devoted partner to Herb, her husband of 46 years. Paulette’s successful careers include business co-founder and administrator, caterer and interior designer.

Paulette is preceded in death by her father, Robert Joseph Bernard. She is survived by her husband, Herb Minatre; son, Adam Minatre; daughter-in-law, Zhenia Minatre; granddaughters, Sonja Michelle Minatre and Nicole Marie Minatre; her mother, Lucille Valeria Bernard; sister, Roberta Kienbaum; brother-in-law, Robert Kienbaum; and other extended family.
