SHOOTING: And list of wishes

Hours after the incident in Texas, Mr. Biden was using this tragic killing as a political thing, calling for more gun control. Right from the Democrat play book, never let a crisis go to waste if it furthers their interest.

Instead of offering words of comfort, he uses their playbook. Any politician, no matter what side they are on, who uses any crisis to further their political playbook is despicable.

What this kid of 18 years old did was pure evil. No amount of so-called gun control or mental health intervention can overcome pure evil.

Do I wish we could have done something different, of course. Do I wish the left never took prayer out of the schools? Of course. Do I wish that more young people appreciated this country and thought of socialism as evil? Of course. Do I wish that schools taught real history and what this country has done for the world? Of course. Do I wish the news media would report what is going on at our border, or should I say lack of border? Of course.

As an old Vietnam veteran and retired Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff, I have wished a lot of things. Unfortunately in both these lines of work you mostly see the bad.

Crime is at an all-time high, lack of fathers in the home and many homes going away from what made this country great, like our money says “In God We Trust.”
