Donna Lynn Huetter, 72

Donna Lynn Huetter 72, of Coeur d’Alene Idaho passed away peacefully in her home on May 10, 2022. Born in Spokane, Wash., on July 5, 1949, to Alva and Helen Dahl. She had two older brothers, Mike, and Jim Dahl.

She grew up in the Spokane Valley graduating from Central Valley High School and then attended Western Washington University. She then went on to graduate from Bassist Art Institute of Portland where she received a degree in interior design.

She married Paul Huetter, also from Spokane in 1977.

She was a faithful employee for Garland Harper Interior Design in Spokane and later Panhandle Interiors in Coeur d’Alene where she retired.

Donna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as spending time at the family cabin on Coeur d’Alene Lake. She had a love for sewing and was proud of her blue-ribbon winning carrot cake. Donna had a beautiful smile, a kind heart, and a great sense of humor. She always made sure everyone was taken care of.

She is survived by her husband of 45-years, Paul J. Huetter, son, John Huetter (Hayden, Idaho). Daughter Jaime Huetter Davis (Belgrade, Mont.). Stepdaughters Robyn Huetter-Jahnke (Tri-Cities), Trish Huetter-Thoen (Spokane, Wash.), and Heather Lynn (Rosalyn, Wash.). Two brothers, Mike Dahl (Lynden, Wash) and Jim Dahl (New Zealand). Grandchildren, Sorcia, Arwen, Jordan, Courtney, Gabby, Stephen, and Madden, and great-grandchildren Chloe and Wade.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts can be made to Kootenai Humane Society or National Diabetes Foundation.
