E-BIKES: Godspeed and good speed

To my fellow e-bike owners, let’s all adhere to the 15 mph rule on our city’s bike and walking trails.

As the weather warms up, trail usage will increase and we’ll be sharing these trails with all sorts of different types of trail users.

We can all be unpredictable on the trails. I know I don’t like having to maneuver around a dog on a long retractable leash. And I am sure people wouldn’t like me flying by on an e-bike at 20 mph or more.

I am grateful to the city for allowing e-bikes on the trails since I use one to commute to and from work. Let’s follow the rule of 15 mph or less so e-bikes don’t get booted from our great trail systems.
