Armed Forces Day in Spirit Lake

SPIRIT LAKE — The annual Armed Forces Day Celebration is scheduled 12:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Spirit Lake City Park.

It will include a walk for veterans at 11 a.m., Color Guard and Missing Man ceremonies, veteran service booths, food vendors, music, auctions, cornhole and a dance floor parade.

It is organized by Roy Racy VFW Post 1473 and Spirit Lake Troop Support.
