ELECTION: Stay with positives

| May 13, 2022 1:00 AM

My family and I bought our home in North Idaho five years ago. Although it was a growing community then, the pandemic migration beginning in 2020 has contributed to some painful growing pains. Some that I’ve witnessed have included negative campaigning.

I found it very disheartening to read this past week an editorial written by Mary Souza, a woman who has served our community for many years acknowledging the current state of political affairs.

Another person who has served our community with strong conservative values and protecting our high quality of life is Paul Amador. I was very surprised to hear the misleading and baseless claims against his record.

Paul has been a strong conservative advocate for our community. He is endorsed by the NRA and both the Fraternal Order of the Police and Idaho Firefighters. I am proud to call myself an Idahoan and am blessed to have the freedom to choose the candidates I feel value community over special interest.
