GOP: New group off target
I have “friends” and have followed former and current elected officials listed in the “New” North Idaho Republicans group.
Reviewing the NIR website they admit that they would like to go back to the way it was with Lincoln/Reagan Republicans.
I don’t think the Grand Old Party of Lincoln/Reagan is what we need today.
We need the GOP that turned this country around from 2016-2020. The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee choices give us the best shot to accomplish this feat.
I question the North Idaho Republicans’ motives; some may be Anti-Trumpers! No mention of the Trumpster on their website. If you can’t or won’t support Trump’s accomplishments, you may be a RINO in my book.
More business as usual in Idaho. The last Legislative session in Boise, a House Education Committee voted not to advance an education bill (H 669) to the full House for a vote. The vote was 8-7 not to advance the bill. In the committee there were 11 Republicans and four Democrats. If the GOP can’t get a common sense bill out of committee, we have a serious problem!
This bill (H 669) was to establish an Educational Savings Account (ESA) for parents, that would enable them school choice. Many states have implemented ESA for parents. Why not Idaho? Maybe too much government unions (teachers) funds going to campaigns and lobbying?
