Landings Park complete
A ribbon cutting and dedication in honor of the completion of the Post Falls Landings Park will be held today.

POST FALLS — A celebration of the opening of the Landings Park 305 W. Fourth Ave. will be held Friday from 4:30 until 7 p.m. Free hot dogs, chips and ice cream will be served, along with live music and games for the whole family.
Post Falls Boy Scout Troop 213 will present the colors and the national anthem will be performed by students from Post Falls High School. Post Falls Councilman Joe Malloy, Bruce Howard from the Avista Corporation, Jayson Cornwell with the city of Post Falls Parks and Recreation commission, Dave Fair with Post Falls Parks and Recreation and Christina Petit, Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, will speak at the event.
The park design features a promenade walkway, a synthetic turf amphitheater, a small stage and views of the Spokane River.
