HONOR FLIGHT: Disrespect on display

A friend of mine recently participated in an Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C., as a U.S. Military Veteran. During the groups’ tour of the various memorials, they were continuously harassed close-up (“in your face”) by a protester.

It seems this was allowed to occur because the current Presidential Administration had discontinued the prior practice of the U.S. Park Police providing escort service for these distinguished veterans. The ironic part is that Honor Flight paid for this protection, not the taxpayers in general.
