DRIVERS: A vote for worst

During my 31 years in the Army, I lived in several of our United States and after I retired visited all of them. I had always thought that the Texas, California and New York drivers were the most inconsiderate and aggressive.

After spending 38 hours picking up 40 bags of trash between milepost 449 and 450, I have come to realize that North Idaho drivers are even worse. Not only do they ignore the litter pick up sign and not move over, some seem to use it as an aiming stake to see how close they can come.

How did our fellow citizens become educated/trained to think it appropriate to throw their dirty diapers, underwear, beer cans and all the fast food containers out of their vehicles while looking at the magnificence of Bernard Peak and the Chilco Peaks? This is just another check on the stupidity report card for our county.

Sadly, I have no answer as to how to fix it.
