William Garren, 74

William Manuel Garren (Bill), 74, resident of Kingston, Idaho, passed away March 10, 2022, at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Bill was born in Spokane, Wash., on July 7, 1947, to Manuel William Garren and Viola Blanche Garren.

Bill was raised in Pinehurst, Idaho, with his brother Leroy Garren. He graduated from Kellogg High School Class of '65 and attended drafting school at North Idaho College. Bill owned and operated the Wet Pet Shop from 1970-1987. Bill had also worked road construction, auto sales, and owned and operated North Country Auto in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho before retiring to his dream spot in Kingston, Idaho after he retired.

He loved the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or photographing nature. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bill had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He will be missed by many in the Silver Valley and Coeur d’Alene area.

Bill is survived by his five children: Robert Garren, Nicholas Garren, Jerrad Garren, Kresa Webster and Kreig Garren. Bill passed away with his loving girlfriend Candi Maki and his son Rob by his side. Bill has 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
