SAINTS: What a celebration

| March 25, 2022 1:00 AM

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day at St. Thomas were more than a hundred people. They enjoyed the delicious corned beef and cabbage and the delightful Irish band that blended in with songs and laughter of families with babies and tiny tots - like days of old - with cute little girls dressed in green doing their version of an Irish jig.

Throughout the evening, celebrants were warmly welcomed by Father John, pastor of St. Thomas Church, white-aproned to help in the kitchen.

Lucky winners were called for prizes donated by the many generous merchants and restaurants to add to the joyous occasion.

For these few hours, celebrants forgot war, politics and pollution. They enjoyed good food, good times and joyous conversation.

A jolly good time was had by all and I can't wait until our next St. Patrick's Day celebration.
