The 6-foot-7 senior averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds in three games as the defending champion Lumberjacks finished runner-up at the recent state 2A boys basketball tournament in the Boise area. “His maturity level has grown every year,” St. Maries coach Bryan Chase said. “Now, he’s one of our best leaders, he inspires our team so much. When he’s up and playing at his best, we’re a pretty tough team to beat. And that’s how he was at state; he really had a great tournament down there.”
