NAME-DROPPER: And pleased as punch

I would like to thank Hannah Neff for the gracious mention of my wife, Janet, and I in her article Conversations over Coffee. There were many participants; to be singled out was a nice honor.

I would also like to compliment Hannah on her journalistic prowess. Captain Deak was rapidly reciting statistics during our conversation. Amid the noise and activity created by the event, Hannah was able to record the information on her writing pad so as to accurately report the statistics in her article.

Thank you, Hannah, for an interesting newspaper article, which was even more enjoyable to read because of the mention of my name.
