HORSE: Trials, tribulations, victory

| March 18, 2022 1:00 AM

I finally got a horse again after about 10 years. I board him at a great ranch with great people (I am not going to put the name of the ranch or people for obvious reasons)… I found out just how much all these people love horses when a starving horse with other horrible conditions showed up at the ranch.

The ranch manager said “OK” to the horse coming in. The vet told the owners what was required to help the horse get back into better condition, which was taking care of it twice a day EVERY day until the horse was better.

People who owned the horse decided it was too expensive/too much trouble and decided to surrender the horse to said ranch… thankfully this was the BEST outcome!

Everyone at “the ranch” bought the horse food/a blanket and helped pay for hoof trimming and vet bills.

Horse now has a new owner who has the love and means to take care of it.

Don’t call yourself a “rescuer” if you don’t have the time or money to put into animals you “save!” Animals take time, money and love.

Thank you to everyone at “the ranch.” You know the story and who you all are… there are so many great people around who love animals. I’m proud to be a part of it.
