KCRCC: Bastardizing ‘patriot’

I have listened to the telephone recording of the discussion by two Republican party members to control, destroy and confiscate any money of the Kootenai County Democratic Party. Truthfully it sounds like an insane idea. Certainly an un-American idea but also a last gasp for total control of our community by an exclusive few.

I then turned on the TV just to clear my mind. A program came on that ended at Arlington National Cemetery. As I watched that scene I thought to myself of the use of the term “patriot” in that telephone recording.

The context was that people are patriots because they’re not Democrats or RINOs. I never asked in Vietnam what party a person belonged to. I certainly didn’t know most of the people that I was there to help.

The real patriots lie in places like Arlington National Cemetery. For these people to even use that term for themselves is despicable, disrespectful and totally unacceptable, just like their insidious scheme.
