25th Anniversary Wine, Stein and Dine event for education a great success

The Post Falls Education Foundation would like to thank the many businesses, individuals and more than 400 attendees who helped make the 25th Anniversary Wine, Stein and Dine fundraiser such a success again this year. Thank you all for supporting our teachers and students of the Post Falls School District.

Proceeds will go toward funding grant requests that are submitted by the district teachers for creative classroom materials and equipment. During the past 25 years, the foundation has now raised more than $700,000 for the Post Falls classrooms.

Thank you to our four major sponsors: Columbia Bank, Mountain West Bank, First Interstate Bank and Northwest Specialty Hospital. Our Wine Tree Sponsor again was Washington Trust Bank; the Silent Auction Sponsor was Architects West; followed by sponsorships and support from Ednetics, STCU, P1FCU, Avista, Magnuson McHugh & Co., Greyhound Park & Event Center, Medicine Man West Pharmacy, Gourley and Associates, KXLY Radio Group, Like Media and the Coeur d'Alene Press.

Our generous food vendors this year included Ekness Catering, Cheers Celebration Co., Westside Pizza Post Falls, Cake-Let Them Eat It, Post Falls Schools Nutrition Services, Rob’s Seafood and Burgers, and the White House Grill.

Thank you to Bill Bozly for great music, along with beverage donors Odom Corporation, Hayden Beverage, Centennial Beverage, Post Falls Brewing and Selkirk Abbey that provided more than 75 different varieties of wines, microbrews, seltzers, ready to drink cocktails and hard ciders. More than 80 businesses and individual donors contributed to the silent auction, and a crew of dozens of volunteers, who return each year, helped add to the event's success. Thank you all for supporting our students and teachers in Post Falls.
