LIFE: Joy in the morning
Slipping out of bed trying not to wake my wife, being able to walk on my new knee replacement. Opening up the blinds to see the cold, rainy weather, then turn up the thermostat and start the tea pot for when my wife wakes up.
The joy of a bathroom, water, toilet and not to be crude, but toilet paper and all of this indoors.
Reading the newspaper delivered to my door, full of all the negative news of the day. Everyone’s complaining about something.
Later my wife enters the room; my world just opened up. I quickly go in for my obligatory hug, a long one. Can’t imagine starting my day without a hug from her, who loves me knowing all my faults.
That is just the first couple of hours of my day in beautiful America. Just think of the freedoms we have for the next 22 hours of the day. Imagine if everyone who lives here loved America, even with its faults.
I cannot stand anyone who badmouths our country, especially the people who live here. The new woke society, their opinion on none at all. The left, who only exists to destroy what we have become as a nation.
We have witnessed how fragile Democracy is. Government shutting down businesses, individual states posing all kinds of demands, leaders saying one thing, then doing the opposite.
We need to stand up for right!
