McGEACHIN: Disaster in waiting

It truly is a sad day when a candidate for Idaho Governor feels it right to lend her voice to a white nationalist, America First Political Action Conference, gathering in Florida.

While Ukraine was being attacked by Russia, this group was cheering for Russian President Putin.

As far as her serving as acting governor while the governor was out of state, I just thank God that was for a very short time. Her executive orders re: Governor Little’s mandates were totally a grandstand on her part as he never made any mandates regarding masks or vaccinations — and this is a person that some in Idaho want as governor?

I certainly hope that we have a more intelligent electorate than to elect someone who believes in these far-right wing ideas and organizations. I thought we had gotten rid of the white supremacists in Idaho. Are we going backward in time?

Please, moderate and sane Republicans, stand up for what is right in Idaho and that there isn’t a conspiracy hiding under every rock. We aren’t the white-only, neo-Nazi state that we were known for years ago — I hope!
