Happy Father's Day Coeur d'Alene

by Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber
| June 19, 2022 1:00 AM

When we think of fathers, we’re inclined to think of people who make a difference in the lives of others each and every day. Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber board member Mark Tucker is a stellar example of this. As the Executive Director of United Way in Coeur d’Alene, Tucker works everyday to engage community members for the most positive widespread impact. He truly embodies the fatherly values of service and relationship, and it is these very values that make our region the unique community it is. But according to Mark, that begins with its members.

“Our region is a beautiful place to live, work, and play, but it’s the people that make North Idaho special.”

— Mark Tucker, Executive Director United Way

Mark says that building authentic relationships within our local community is part of his everyday job, but that “it comes naturally when presented with the cooperative environment that is truly nourished by the Chamber.” Businesses and nonprofits need each other, and they are an important part of the magic of our chamber in this community.

Authentic Relationships at The Local Level

Building relationships is what we do best at the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber. We facilitate connections between people, which enables them to build authentic relationships that help their businesses — and, in turn, our community — grow.

Many will witness this very thing at our upcoming 4th of July celebration! Through our Chamber connections and countless volunteers, our community will show firsthand what we can accomplish together — thanks largely to the relationships we’ve built.

We invite you to join us on Monday, July 4, for our annual celebration. This year’s theme is the “Spirit of America!” Begin the day with our American Heroes Parade, where floats and marching bands will bring back the magic of your childhood. Stay for the festival in the park (or sign up to be a vendor). Culminate the festivities with a magnificent fireworks display over the lake. The CDA Regional Chamber is selling a limited number of tickets for a VIP viewing experience at the parade and the fireworks show. Visit our 4th of July web page for more information!

We all know the privilege it is to live here. Let’s celebrate that together! This Independence Day is sure to be an occasion to remember.

Our mission is truly our members. Each month, we will highlight a different Insider Advantage. This is our opportunity to showcase our mission in action. For May, we focused on Creating Community Impact and Quality of Life. June’s theme is “Generating Authentic Relationships in Community”. Join us at our upcoming events:
