CLEVELAND: KCRCC should support

| June 15, 2022 1:00 AM

Jim Crapo, Republican, age 71, years in elective office, 38 years.

Joe Biden, Democrat, age 79, year in elective office, 45 1/2 years.

Scott Cleveland, Conservative, age 60, Private sector for 40 years.

Idaho’s U.S. senior senator Mike Crapo joined Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and the Biden Democrat’s ongoing reckless spending spree by voting to approve a massive $1,250,000,000,000 (trillion) spending bill. This pork barrel project is just another example of poor decisions being made in Washington, D.C. In fact, only 11% of this mislabeled package is going to anything “infrastructure” related. Senator Crapo has tried to pass off this Democrat friendly vote as “good for Idaho.” How could 89% pork be good for any American? We need, “balance the budget,” elected officials in Washington, D.C. This fiscal levitation from Washington will never end unless we vote for new financially responsible leaders.

Scott Cleveland has been a lifelong Republican until 2020. The 2020 election caused Scott to see that we are entering a rough road ahead with some Republicans unable to uphold the conservative values. (See above.) Scott professes his support for MAGA without the mean tweets.

I’d like to see the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) step forward and support a true conservative for the U.S. Senate this November, Scott Cleveland. Career Politicians from both sides appear to be working for themselves instead of “We the People.” Take a long-educated look at the candidates this November.
