GUN VIOLENCE: Action needed now

My heart is broken after the Uvalde shooting of 19 innocent children and two teachers. I am outraged that the No. 1 killer of children is gun violence. I repeat … the No. 1 killer of American children. It is a national health crisis!

Our children are becoming increasingly anxious. Just think of all the children who have witnessed gun violence in the past decade. We need gun safety laws passed now. Our children’s lives and their well-being depends on it.

Yes, I agree mental health dollars are needed. But mental illness is a hidden disease that takes time to identify and more time to treat. We cannot wait. We need action now.

Please contact Senators Risch and Crapo to vote yes on common sense gun safety laws. These laws will not affect law-abiding gun owners. In fact, many gun owners approve of these safety measures. Protect our children!
