GUNS: Officials need to take action

All this ongoing murder of innocents with semi and assault rifles is sickening.

Double sickening is the response of our elected Idaho officials who year after year have dissed and outright blocked sensible gun laws like universal background checks.

They have a duty to protect the majority of people in our nation and state, but instead lazily and cynically flap their prayerful jaws in lieu of any meaningful action.

Reality is gun violence requires both people and guns. So let’s act in our interest and sever the disconnected notion that guns are only tools and the feds are going to take them away from us. Such a bunch of bunk!

There are too many responsible gun owners in Idaho and we need to act — now.
