COMMUNITY: Supports fundraising book sale

The Friends of the Community Library Network, after a two-year break during COVID-19, were delighted to hold our big book sale at the Hayden library. We wish to express our sincere thanks to our generous community members who have donated so many wonderful books throughout the years.

Without these books, we couldn’t raise funds for the many wonderful projects and events library staff put on at the CLN branch libraries, on the Discovery Bus and at outreach locations. To everyone who attended the sale and filled their bags and boxes with books, thank you so much. It was so good to welcome back those of you who have been asking when the sale will return and to meet those of you who joined us for the first time.

Special thanks to the volunteers who helped with setup and takedown. To CLN management and staff, you are the best. Your support and cooperation in providing the resources and space to collect, sort, distribute and sell donated books, both daily in our book room and during this special event make it all possible. Again, our thanks to all — our library neighborhood — who make it possible for the Friends to support our libraries.
