SCHOOLS: Need to protect our children

| June 1, 2022 1:00 AM

As an example I’ll use the federal building in Spokane. To gain entrance you have to go through a metal detector with a guard watching. Then, if you happen to have a metal belt or other metal item and the alarm goes off, you are immediately “wand” searched by one man with another man, who I assume is armed, watching Then, if all clear, you can enter the building.

Why do we send $40 BILLION to Ukraine (whom I pray for every day) instead of using a similar amount of money to fence our schools, have one entrance in and out with a detection unit that one must go through to gain entrance. Seems to me that focusing on safety for the politicians has a higher priority than making schools safe and bullet proof! Come on, D.C. Get your priorities straight! We need to protect our children!
