COOLING CENTERS: Don’t use libraries

I saw on the news (KREM Spokane) they are using the library’s as cooling centers. Bad Idea!

I lived in Sacramento 15 years ago when they thought that was a good idea — within two years the homeless took over the library’s in Sac. The one downtown was a wonderful library, one of the best I have found. From that time on to today the stink is unbearable, the filth everywhere — urine in the stacks. Children were no longer safe alone. All the city fathers I talked to admitted to me they or their family never ever used the library. Don’t Let This Happen Here!

I could offer a suggestion for cooling centers … courthouse, assessor’s office, police station, council chambers … you get the idea!
