BRENT REGAN: Thank you

In response to Brent Regan’s informative commentary on Friday, “A bad idea that sounds good,” bless you, sir!

My children may never know how much they will owe you for your diligence in inserting yourself into our Idaho education system. Without you, I would never have learned that “highly qualified” teachers are actually bad. Or that hiring counselors is really just an underhanded way to hire “groomers” who will send all of our kids directly to surgeons to change their genders against their will! And if that wasn’t bad enough, they want to “enhance” our children’s education, which can ONLY mean indoctrinating them with esoteric university-level concepts like Critical Race Theory. But worst of all, those “special education services” will definitely force Drag Queen Story Hour on our precious children. Not to mention such horrors as school nurses or more and better buses.

No, sir! You are an angel for calling out these monsters on their blatant and obvious attempt to dismantle America one child at a time. Thank God for you, sir. Without you, I would be forced to go through life knowing only what our poor, underfunded education system and overworked instructors could manage to teach me. For example, without you I would never have known that the word “could” actually means “definitely will!”

“Tens of supporters.” Ha! Way to stick it to those horrible beasts who want “quality education” and “affordable health care” for all Idahoans! What a basket of deplorables.
