ABORTION: Tell the truth

Call it what it is.

Lies about the Supreme court’s decision on Roe v. Wade case.

First, it is said it is in the Constitution, it is not. Show me where it is written. I can almost guarantee most people who say this have not read the Constitution. If they have, maybe it was in high school, if they still teach it.

Second, the decision banned abortion. No it did not, it just turned it over to the people of individual states. Each state can decide what their citizens want.

Third, reproductive rights. You have the right to be reproductive, no one is stopping you.

Fourth, it’s my body. Yes and no. It is your body and inside your body is another person.

Fifth, Planned Parenthood. A government sponsored program using your tax dollars of more than $500 million. Just what are they doing to help you plan for a new family?

If you want an abortion, just admit the truth. You did not use birth control. You already have too many children and cannot afford another. You’re not married and maybe have no idea who the father is. Worst case, maybe you were raped. You have already raised your children and now you’re too old to start over. Having a child at this time conflicts with your goals in the business world. You’re single; how can you be out of work while pregnant and pay for child care once the child comes?

Whatever the reason, just admit the truth.
