POST FALLS: City planners, council gaslighting locals

Just read Friday’s article “We don’t need to drown our culture” about citizens against the proposed 41-acre annexation in Post Falls. Good luck with that. Seems the Post Fall city planners and council will not be happy until every open acre of beautiful rural land is covered with “mixed use” projects to, as they justify it, bring businesses and jobs to the community but really it’s just a form of gaslighting the locals into more high-density housing. Because one strip mall and a park surrounded by multi-story apartment buildings with limited parking and high rents is not what’s best for the community.
