John Kirk Hartman

80th Birthday

John Kirk Hartman celebrated his 80th birthday on July 8, 2022. He and his twin sister were born July 8, 1942, in Grangeville to Joe and Ellen Hartman.

Kirk enlisted in the U.S. Army in October 1966 and served in Vietnam at Long Binh and more than 16 months in Germany at Baumholder and obtained the rank of SP5-E-5.

Kirk retired from the Clarkston Post Office in October 2005 after a 27-year career. His twin sister lives in Kamiah and Kirk lives in Rathdrum with his wife, Barbara.
