IDAHO: Keep it conservative

In Friday’s Coeur d’Alene Press comes to us fine conservative citizens Chuck Malloy’s puff piece about the Democrats inviting us to join their liberal platform, and a letter by Brad St. John criticizing the Republican party.

Clearly, there was a recent liberal coffee klatch and they all decided to attack conservatives this week. For clarity, no we are not interested in grade school sex education adding transgender interpretive dancing, no we don’t want to cut funding to our fine law enforcement, no we don’t want higher taxes so you can build wind farms that cost more than the energy they generate, and no we don’t believe men can get pregnant.

We also don’t want you telling us to wear masks (mandates that are appearing in liberal run states as I write this), taking our firearms, preventing us from praying, allowing unfettered border crossings, and destroying our oil and gas industry so the liberal president you elected has to go to the Saudis hat in hand to beg them to lower the outrageous gas prices he created by fulfilling his campaign promise to destroy the U.S. energy industry.

Chuck reports liberals whining they can’t get elected as if there is no understanding of how this could be. Perhaps it is because we citizens of Idaho quite like having zero brownouts, a state budget surplus, low crime and the freedom to enjoy the liberties the people WE elect continue to protect on our behalf.
