ROE v. WADE: An evangelical ruling

Isn’t it special how the Supreme Court changed the paradigm from don’t tread on me to ban everything an evangelical might find uncomfortable. Whoa to them whose naughty parts might tingle…

I heard a preacher named Bishop tell his flock that his jealous God has commanded them to dismantle all LGBTQ rights because they don’t love him enough. I knew right then this isn’t going to be a decade of safer schools.

I cringe when “life begins at conception” is used to explain the ban on abortion… No more forgiveness for the rape victim contemplating ramming a coat hanger in her cervix. IMO Life begins before conception and I’m not going to do the chicken before the egg debate with someone shouting “non-believer.” Biblical fearmongering is as old and unbecoming as genital mutilation.

So, I refuse to take stock in evangelical rulings. Excommunication can be worn like a badge of honor if you ask me.

Soon necessary termination of a pregnancy will be about as bad as cops harassing the “tourist unfriendlies.” If you don’t get the joke you just might be a redneck and you should probably buy a chastity belt…

Hopefully this “moral majority” can pick a candidate soon… Normally the jealous God has chosen one by now!
