PRONOUNS: Try this, y’all

How to avoid “offending” anyone via gender misidentification.

With the everchanging gender of choice menu, may I suggest a non-gender, gender neutral, “safe” set of pronouns so as not to offend anyone.

A very good and kind friend who has passed hailed from Oklahoma (RIP TP). He taught me to talk “southern.” He told me when addressing in the singular its “y’all.” In the plural, it is “all, y’all.”

So, when I ask you to go for coffee, it’s “Y’all wanna get a cup of coffee?” but if there might be three or more in the group, it’s “All y’all wanna grab a cup?”
