While I wait for the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the rending of garments, and the exploding heads of the usual “Woke” suspects, I would like to remind The Press readers of something: That pesky First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Sheriff Norris has every right as a citizen to voice his opinion about his political convictions.
As the top elected law enforcement officer of Kootenai County, he also has a sworn duty to uphold the Constitutions of the U.S. and Idaho against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The Second Amendment protects the other Nine.
