PARADE: Wrong place for protest

Thank you to the Cd'A Regional Chamber of Commerce for putting on a great event today (Fourth of July) celebrating America and our heroes. It was a delightful and enjoyable event celebrating America and our heroes in spite of the weather.

I would also like to thank the Kootenai County Democrats (sarcasm intended) for displaying such inappropriate behavior. At an event that was and is intended to celebrate America and our American heroes the only thing the Democrats could focus on was protesting that the Supreme Court returned a right to the states that never should have been removed.

I do not deny that they have a right to protest but, in my opinion, this was an inappropriate time and place and displayed a lack of respect and decorum that should have been displayed at this event.
