MILESTONE BIRTHDAY

Bob Lawless

100th Birthday

Bob Lawless, resident of North Star Retirement Community, celebrated his 100th birthday. He was June 18, 1922, in Haxtun, Colo. Bob retired from construction.

The Lake City Tappers sang Happy Birthday and joined in the birthday celebration. When asked what his key to longevity is, Bob replied "keep on pedaling."

EDUCATION

Sophie Steiner, of Post Falls, majoring in psychology, was named to the Dean's List of Saint Vincent College for the spring 2022 semester, according to Father Philip Kanfush, interim vice president for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean. In order to qualify for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better out of a possible 4.0.
