ROE V. WADE: Life is precious

| July 1, 2022 1:00 AM

I am writing to be a voice for those who can’t speak, particularly those in the womb. I am elated to hear that Roe vs. Wade was overturned! It’s even better to know that I live in a state that doesn’t support abortion.

I’ve been gardening lately and admiring the mystery of all the tiny seeds that I planted this spring. Looking at my garden right now, I see short tomato plants, vines of snap peas, and the tops of carrots. The vegetables aren’t quite ready to be enjoyed yet, but given time and the sacrifice of caring for them, they will prove to become what the seeds had promised.

Life is precious. From conception to death, all life has dignity and purpose and even more than a backyard vegetable, every human deserves the chance to become what was promised when the egg was fertilized.

Pregnancy is a beautiful sacrifice that needs to be celebrated and women need to know that they are built to birth. Women are strong and empowered because they are able to carry and deliver a life! Praying that Idaho can become a safe haven for those seeking support before, during, and after birth. Our world desperately needs “good fruit” right now, and pro-life Idahoans are giving those silent seeds a chance to grow.
